Our 20-minute Metabolic Discovery Call is a low-cost opportunity to discuss your health concerns, determine whether we're a good fit, and answer questions before scheduling a comprehensive evaluation. The $25 fee is applied toward your first self-pay visit if you choose to move forward.
We focus on diagnosing and treating metabolic conditions, including insulin resistance, prediabetes, type 2 diabetes, obesity, hypertension, dyslipidemia, metabolic syndrome, fatty liver disease, thyroid concerns, PCOS, vitamin deficiences, and other chronic disease conditions influenced by metabolic health. Although metabolic health is our speciality, we are trained to diagnose, treat, and manage many medical conditions within the scope of primary care. Our approach is to care for the whole person while maintaining a specialized focus on the metabolic factors that influence overall health and chronic disease.
Yes. We order comprehensive laboratory testing when clinically appropraite. We are fully integrated with Quest Diagnostics, allowing most patients to use their insurance for covered laboratory services. For patients without insurance or whose testing is not covered, Quest also offers discounted self-pay pricing for many laboratory tests. Laboratory fees are billed seperately by Quest Diagnostics, not by Core Metabolic Health Clinic. Once your results are available, we will schedule a follow-up visit to review them in detail, explain what they mean, identify metabolic patterns, and develop a personlized treatment plan.

Yes. Core Metabolic Health Clinic is a 100% telehealth-based practice. All appointments are conducted securely by video or, when appropriate, by phone from the comfort of your home. Telehealth allows us to spend more uninterupted, face-to-face time together than many traditional office visits, giving us the opportunity to take a deeper, more comprehensive approach to your care. It also provides the unique opportunity to review your medications, supplements, pantry, refrigertor, and other aspects of your home environment that may influence your nutrition, lifestyle, and metabolic health. These real-world insights often lead to more personalized and practical recommendtions that may be overlooked during a conventional office visit.
No. Core Metabolic Health Clinic is a specialized metabolic health practice within the spectrum of primary care. While we are trained to diagnose, treat, and manage many medical conditions, our practice is intentionally focused on chronic disease prevention, metabolic optimization, and comprehensive lifestyle-based care. Although we frequently collaborate with primary care providers and specialists, our role is different. Rather than providing broad primary care services, we focus on identifying and addressing the underlying metabolic factors that contribute to chronic disease development and progression. We provide an in-depth evaluation of metabolic health, nutrition, lifestyle, laboratory findings, and personalized treatment strategies that often require more time and focused attention than is possible during a traditional primary care visit.
You do not need to have an established primary care provider to become a patient at Core Metabolic Health Clinic. Many patients choose to see us as a standalone speciality practice focused on improving their metabolic health, while others choose to incorporate our care alongside their existing healthcare team.
Initial comprehensive evaluations are typically scheduled for 60 minutes, allowing ample time for an in-depth review of your medical history, previous laboratory results, current medications and supplements, nutrition, lifestyle, and overall metabolic health. We also develop a personalized treatment plan tailored to your goals and health needs.
For Medicare patients, new patient visits are typically scheduled for 60 minutes; however, the actual visit length may vary based on your individual medical needs and the time required to provide medically necessary care. Medicare visits are billed based on medical necessity and the total time required to provide your care.
For self-pay patients, the initial Metabolic Kickstart Visit is always a comprehensive 60-minute evaluation. Follow-up visits may vary based on your individual needs and selected care plan, however, self-pay visit pricing is based on scheduled 60-minute appointments. At Core Metabolic Health Clinic, we believe lasting improvements in metabolic health are achieved through comprehensive care, personalized education, and sustainble lifestyle changes. Our appointment structure is intentionally designed to provide the time needed to build a strong patient-provider partnership, support meaningful behavior change, and empower you to acheive lasting improvements in your health.
