Cailin Chapman is a dual-trained metabolic health specialist, Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN), and Physician Assistant Certified (PA-C) — a rare combination that gives her telehealth patients a distinct clinical advantage. As the founder of Core Metabolic Health Clinic, she brings together the precision of clinical medicine and the depth of nutritional science to address the root causes of metabolic dysfunction and chronic disease.
Cailin graduated magna cum laude in Dietetics from Kansas State University, completed her Dietetic Internship and post-graduate clinical training, and earned her Master's in Physician Assistant Studies with High Honors. She has also completed a Certificate in Functional and Integrative Medicine through the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. She is a proud member of the Society of Metabolic Health Practitioners (SMHP), an organization dedicated to advancing evidence-based metabolic health care. She is also the founder of Remnu, a therapeutic pillow company rooted in sleep optimization and recovery. Cailin is also a published author in peer-reviewed medical literature. Her research on maternal mental health and miscarriage-related trauma was published in the International Journal of Pregnancy & Child Birth (2023), examining how healthcare providers impact grief outcomes following pregnancy loss.

Cailin's approach to metabolic health care is through a whole-body, root-cause lens that recognizes metabolism as an integrated system rather than a collection of isolated lab values or symptoms. Care is personalized and precision-driven, with an emphasis on identifying the upstream drivers of dysfunction from nutrition, insulin signaling, inflammation, stress physiology, sleep quality, hormonal and micronutrient imbalances. Treatment plans are targeted, practical, and sustainable. When clinically appropriate, treatment may include medications including, but not limited to: GLP-1 medications such as semaglutide (Ozempic, Wegovy, Rybelsus), GIP medications such as tirzepatide (Mounjaro, Zepbound), and oral weight loss medications such as orforglipron (Foundayo) as a part of a comprehensive metabolic strategy and supportive tools - not substitutes for healthy lifestyle change. As health improves, treatment plans are regularly reassessed with the goal of using the lowest effective level of intervention, which may include reducing or discontinuing medications when it is safe and clinically appropriate. The goal is not lifelong dependence on medications, but lifelong habits for metabolic health, using lifestyle as the foundation of care and the lowest effective level of medical intervention when clinically appropriate.
Core Metabolic Health Clinic uses a data-driven telehealth approach to monitor impact. Cailin partners with her patients to restore alignment between daily lifestyle behaviors, nutrition behaviors, and the body’s natural circadian rhythm in supporting consistent sleep, strategic timing of nourishing food, light exposure, and recovery practices that reinforce metabolic resilience.
At Core Metabolic Health Clinic, our goal isn't simply more medical care, it's better healthcare: restoring metabolic health through sustainable lifestyle change while using the least intensive medical intervention necessary.
